Webb City Medical Office Building

Freeman Health System

Webb City, Missouri

Completion Date 201X

17,300 Square Feet

Challenge:

The Freeman Health System Medical Office Building involved the hospital purchasing an existing 17,300 square foot building and renovating it to house an Urgent Care Clinic, Primary Care Clinic and a 24-bay Outpatient Dialysis Clinic.

Solution:

The new Urgent Care Clinic provided eight exam rooms, an X-ray imaging room and a dedicated ambulance port separate from the main entrance of the building. The Primary Care Clinic provided space for two physicians with three exam rooms per provider and associated support spaces.

The Outpatient Dialysis Clinic opened with 16 operational treatment bays with flexibility for additional bays to meet increasing patient load. The clinic is divided into three bays of eight treatment chairs with dedicated nurse stations per bay. The clinic includes a central medication room and laboratory space that is easily accessible from all bays.

Improvements were made to the building exterior including a new roof, supplemental rooftop HVAC units, a new parking surface and canopy to provide covered patient drop-off.
