Medical Equipment planner

Position Description

Pulse Design Group has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Equipment Planner in our Lenexa, Kansas office. Pulse Design Group is a healthcare architecture firm with 40+ years of experience in healthcare design and a true passion for the healthcare community. Our firm has worked with more than 50 healthcare systems totaling more than 3,000 projects. The primary responsibilities of this position include the following:

  • Provide all necessary information pertinent to medical equipment for projects

  • Provide project support and equipment planning solutions that meet client specific project objectives

  • While providing project specific services, maintain consistency with our firm’s standards and within the schedule and budget allocated for that project

  • Ensure that all equipment for the project is consistent with the client standards as well as adaptable for future changes in technology

  •  Responsible for quality control and timeliness of all deliverables for the project

  • Provide support to other Equipment Planning team members when needed

  • Coordination of equipment plans and specifications with the architects and engineers on the project team

  • Travel will be required occasionally for this position

Qualified candidates for the position must have a bachelor’s degree, Revit use capability, and the ability to communicate well with clients, consultants and vendors. Familiarity with Word and Excel is required. Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD and databases is preferred. Experience in a healthcare related position also preferred.
