Michael’s history at Pulse Design Group exemplifies the firm’s culture of developing staff to their fullest potential. In 1994, he began working at the firm as an intern while in his final year of architecture school, continued working his way up, and in 2007, became part of the principal team. He has been an integral part of our organization ever since.
With Michael’s varying interests and talents, he has taken on a variety of responsibilities during his tenure here. This includes spearheading the firm’s technology initiatives, insuring that Pulse Design Group stays on top of the most up-to-date software and technology innovations for our industry. Michael was also the first person in our firm to become certified as a LEED Accredited Professional with the United States Green Building Council, leading the way for Pulse Design Group’s efforts in environmentally responsible design.
Michael plays a key role in the firm’s design build contract that provides hospital design services to the Department of Defense’s task of updating air force base hospitals across the country. Those projects include work at Andrews Air Force Base in Virginia, the Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado, David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California, and Beale Air Force Base Medical Center in California.
